Hallmarks

All of our silver items weighing over 7.78 grams by law has to be hallmarked. We are registered with the London Assay Office for hallmarking. We have to send items to London for testing & either a laser or punch hallmark is then applied. The hallmark, carries our own unique makers sponsors mark MT. Some of our lighter items may also be hallmarked & this will be stated in the product description. Other non-hallmarked items are still made with the same 925 sterling silver & may carry a 925 stamp. See below "ask if its hallmarked it's your guarantee".

As most of our items are handmade to order, please allow an additional 7 days for your items to be sent to London for testing & hallmarking. If you have any further questions, please contact us at sales@newlinajewellery.co.uk

It depends on the item purchased. Smaller & hollow items will carry a laser hallmark where possible. Our larger & more solid items will be punch hallmarked where possible. Please note, not all our products will be hallmarked but may carry a 925 stamp, some may have no stamp at all, but still made from the same 925 sterling silver..
